Will had a great year. DeVonte was everything we hoped he would be. James scored double figures. We overcame our anticipated weakness on the boards. Josh was more than solid. Leroy was a defensive stopper. All the parts were there - so why couldn't we win? Looking down the list of games that we might have expected to win but didn't. North Florida, Tulsa, Southern Miss, Troy at home, etc, etc. Just time after time we couldn't put it together when we needed to. We had some bright moments, and at times we looked really good, but we just never had that consistency that good teams have. The injuries did not help, but that does not answer the greater question. At times the coaching seemed to be outstanding and the kids looked good. Then the next game we would look unprepared and out of sync. Really frustrating.
