Some would say Memphis has been inconsistent lately. I say the Tigers are playing good teams. I also say the Tigers are a good team themselves, and they will return home and bounce back from Thursday's drubbing at Cincinnati. For a team anchored by four seniors, Senior Day should carry special meaning, although it would help if a couple of those seniors made a three-pointer once in a while.
Memphis 79, SMU 75

Positive words from a very knowledgeable CBB expert = 2 posts

Negative words from average poster who appears not to have very much CBB knowledge at all = 100 + posts (sometimes many more than that).

It terrifies me; every time Seth picks us, we lose.
I do not think most people (me included) call this team inconsistent because they lose to some top ranked teams and beat some others. I think we feel inconsistent because tend to play really great of really bad. Obviously, we played a really high levels against L'ville twice, Ok. State 2.0, Florida (even though we lost) and Gonzaga. However, we also have played down right awful several time this season, Ok. State 1.0, Cincy twice, SMU, Houston, and a few we managed to win against bad teams. We are either really good or really bad it seems like.
I'd trade his desire to hit more 3s for more consistent defense, especially around the rim and allowing driving layups, any day.

Agree with this and it's time for shaq to play the way he was earlier in the season. That will help interior defense a ton

Looks to me like Shaq has inherited Tarik Black's hands in the last couple of weeks. He can't catch a cold.

This is where we miss DJ the most in my opinion. If he wasn't blocking a shot he was altering it.
