? is, is this it for ever and ever? Im told we will play on the women's side but not next year.

Our first metro game ever was against Tulane
Don't know how basketball will work out, but I do know that Tulane and USM will play in baseball annually.
1. If it were up to me, Tulane and Southern Miss would play every year in MBB, WBB, and baseball. Every-other-year in football.

2. It's not up to me.

we/they are a perfect opponent in all sports that require h/h ooc home scheduling....gdm, if we can't figure that part out, I'll just stop watching altogether...I'm about sick of this shite....so is everybody else....

realignment has caused additional monies spent on travel within the conference....it's a slam fkn dunk ooc move....

Southern Miss and Tulane will meet for the 77th time. It is the second most games played against one opponent. The Green Wave leads the series, 40-36. However, Southern Miss has won the last eight meetings and 11 of the last 12. When played in New Orleans, Tulane leads, 23-13.

I'm hoping baseball will be a weekend series deal and not weekday....but I'm sure it will be the latter due to it being an easy trip in the middle of the week.
I'm betting a weekend series.
Baseball is the one that most obviously should be played. You can't find a better midweek opponent for either team, really. Under 2 hour drive, with good competition. Should play at least twice.
Not much reason not to play basketball either gender either.

Football's different as you only have 4 games a year ooc...still I'm sure we'll have at least 1 game per year ooc less interesting than USM.

As for tonight, well, I can't think of a reason why it won't be another pounding. Hoping for better, though.

The way things have been going we might be better off not playing Tulane.
