This season Rob Williams has achieved a distinction that only a small number of men's basketball Blazers have achieved during the program's history. The last time was in the 2003-04 season. Name that distinction.
completed the entire menu at the cheesecake factory?
Has dated all of the Golden Girls ?
He never missed a class ?
Graduated.
I'm going to say that he has logged playing time in every game for all 4 years he's been a Blazer

edit: he only played 28/31 games his freshman year from the research I just did...
Stayed in the program a full five years

Yep. He redshirted as a true freshman and then played four years.

Even though 5-year Blazers are relatively infrequent, there were three Blazers who completed their 5th year of eligibility in the 2003-04 season: Sidney Ball, Tony Johnson, and Mo Finley. Ironically, all three of them played their freshman season but later redshirted due to injuries.

Thank you all thank you all.

I am known as "the answer" for a reason and it's only half because I am an Allen iverson fan.

Yep, no one wanted to hear Murry make excuses about injuries, but it clearly was a reasonable excuse. Add in the face that Torrey Ward, David Walker, Myron Random, and will Campbell all had injury plagued careers, and it helps explain a really rough stretch for UAB.

It was still time for Murry to go though
And, I was going with a Cheesecake Factory answer as I read the stem, but LairDweller beat me to it.
Paul Delaney played 5 years 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008 Tore his ACL redshirted, 2008-2009
And, that is why PD3 is one of my all-time favorites to play in the green-n-gold. "Quit" did not exist in that young man's lexicon...

And just whom do you think is Orson (i.e. a well-known Blazertalker personified as a grumpy expert) around here, hmmmmm? 03-shhhh
You, sir, are exactly right. And, um, that was actually the bonus question. Yeah, that's the ticket. Good job.

Seriously, PD III might (?) be the only Blazer to actually play in five seasons, since he did play in four games during his redshirt season.
George Wilkerson.
Thank you, Rob, for your dedication, hard work, and for being a leader and face of the program. You carried yourself with class, and we appreciate it.

He's up there with PDIII in our recent favorites book. My wife still talks about getting a call from Rob when the athletic department had athletes calling scholarship donors and saying thank you. I suspect that he's her favorite as a result.

Best wishes going forward.

Oh, and thanks for the Cheesecake Factory recruiting trips. We joke about it, but I think you made a difference there too.
What I will always remember about Williams is watching his eyes when he is on defense. Most intense and focused I've ever seen. I felt like not only did he know what the other nine players was doing at any given moment, but he also knew who in the stands had gone to get popcorn,
