Figured you guys closer to Denver knew. Since I was in the hospital last year I didn't realize it until recently.
Great story, you should research it for sure. Typical case where the coach thought he had more pull than he did, frosted the leadership at DU. He went to the press with his desire for a contract extension, didn't sit well.

Nick, it's great that you're back, I am not even asking what you went through, you alluded to it earlier and in it was obvious you had a desire for privacy, no questions will be solicited, explicitly or otherwise. Just awesome you're back and talking WMU hockey.

You're a great fan and full of facts and passion for WMU. I hope you can attend games as well.
+1 to everything DB said
His ego and his results were a mismatch.

Well, earlier this month was my one year anniversary of my stroke. Tomorrow I'm heading over to Grand Rapids for an assessment on my reflexes and reaction time to see if I can get my drivers license back. It'll be next season before I can likely see Lawson again.
Dude, I didn't ask, honest. At the same time, I'm sorry, and very happy you're here to talk hockey and Bronco athletics with us, but that's me being selfish.

You're in my prayers tonight. Full recovery and Lawson attendance being mentioned for Nick.

Not to mention full recovery for Dip and his attendance at his daughters graduation and wedding.

Somewhere along the line this got sketchy, I own that and feel bad about how things transpired from my end. But I meant what I said a while back that this board had gotten real and that there are a bunch of honest to goodness, genuine good people here. The same reason that I look back on my Kalmazoo days so fondly. Good people are hard to come by.

Fantasy trashing days are over for me.

I'd even shake Persky's hand and be happy to meet a fellow big time Bronco fan if he would be open to do the same.

DB, have you been drinking???

Anyway, I do have to concur that it's nice to have Bronconick back! Great hockey knowledge that was definitely missed. Here's to a full recovery!

This.

Glad you're back, man. We were all quite worried last year.

Sorry about all you've had to go through - and continued well-wishes.

Dito. I would list Nick as one of the all around favorite posters here. I was worried when you were gone brother. Delightful to have you back in the fold.

Couldn't care less...I like the actual games.
Bronconick? Who?
JK. Thanks for the update and keep moving forward. Even better days are ahead I'm sure.
Thoughts and prayers. Glad you will get the joy of watching bronco hockey again at Lawson.
