Tigers held the Bulldogs to 3-16 with RISP, left 12 men on base.
I'm always a little leery when the Tigers pick up a midweek SEC win, especially once conf play starts, because we don't always face the top pitching on the staff.

However, tonight, MSU threw some fairly heavy artillery at us in Bracewell, Lindgren, and Holder.
We don't throw our best pitchers mid week in conf play either Brad

Coming back in the 9th with three big runs against their All American closer and after Rock getting tossed, says a lot about this team.

4-0 and STILL undefeated.
I forgot they were playing last night. That is a huge win.
Great win last night! Go Tigers!!!!!!!

Brad, since you are a confessed Bulldog fan, I assume that you are aware that (1) State played for the College World Series championship against UCLA last year and (2) have a deep bullpen considered to be the best in college baseball by several experts.

I continue to be amazed at how Schoenrock manages to beat the likes of Alabama, Miss State and Ole Miss every year despite the enormous advantages such schools have in baseball facilities and support. No telling what he could do if we got behind him. While State has crowds exceeding 8,000, we struggle to have 800 and their stadium is one of the biggest and most impressive in college baseball. I hope to see the day when Memphis fans give the support to Tiger baseball that it needs and deserves. I was disgusted with Jarvis Greer and Channel 5 Sports last night - he didn't even mention the game.
congrats on the win. will look great on your resume when it's all said and done.

Thanks - I think you will see that losing to Memphis won't look all that bad, either, when "all is said and done". Did you follow State to Omaha last year? I will crawl up there on my hands and knees if necessary when Memphis finally makes it to the CWS.
