Ingram earned his UAB offer last summer after an elite camp, he said. UAB was way out in front with its offer of the talented junior.

"I like them," Ingram said. "They show interest very well. They call me all the time. They like me and I like the coaches there.

"I like UAB. They send point guards to the NBA and that's where I'm trying to get to."

What the hell is he talking about? UAB point guards in NBA ?

Lets not miss the gist of the story and its not a UAB article, its a article about Alabama Coach Grant and Alabama basketball.
The news mentioned Alabama basketball when ever UAB basketball is even slightly mentioned...not so for Auburn Basketball...Its as if the news( are Grant's agent ) decided to make Alabama appear to be the more relevant basketball school in the state, and maybe save Grants job

Pretty sure they'll both be back. Alabama has a very good class coming in and Barbie's squad has played much better over the last month...

BTW, Alabama just lost another player for violation of team rules - C Nick Jacobs. It seems Grant's team has some internal issues...

Grant has a great class coming in every year.
