2 point game with 7:19 left in the game.

Great showcase for the American if you ask me.

Huge disparities that will probably decide the game:

Fouls: Memphis - 16, UCONN - 10
FTs: Memphis 6, UCONN - 23

Yup, that's 16,000 plus...We'll pack any arena for quality competition. Usually the better opponents end up playing at Gampel (10,000 plus capacity) because it's a better home-court advantage. It makes it tricky to figure out which is the better venue to play our games at...

Great game! 04-cheers
These are two very even teams...
HOLY SH!T I THOUGHT THAT WAS IN! 03-phew
OT 5 more minutes
These refs are ridiculous. The ticky tack calls are bogus.
I'm pulling for UConn... We need the same number of AAC programs in top 25.
SERIOUSLY?

Yeah considering it led to a 3 pointer on the other end.

Again, I don't complain about refs...but that's pretty bad.

I think part of that 30 - 8 discrepancy is the fact that Memphis blew by UCONN for easy lay-ups for a good amount of the game. There really was no foul to be had.

In terms of the refs, we've all seen how bad the AAC refs are...It should really come as no surprise. UCONN's been burned by refs quite a bit this year so of course I'm glad we were on the receiving end this time around...

2 very good, evenly matched teams IMO. I'll be excited to see both come tourney time.
Wow. Memphis missing a bye in the conference tourny? At least it will be on their home court.
The refs are the reason I hate basketball.
Congrats UConn.

We still have Louisville at home, Gotta play Cincy, and have SMU at home. Far from over bud.
