UT lost the series opener to Eastern Michigan 10-5. Doesn't seem to be looking good as far as making the conference tournament goes, though I haven't studied the standings and remaining games left. Just based on what's in the article, Rockets aren't out of it but the chances don't look good.

Rockets rallied with 2 in the bottom of the 7th and 2 in the bottom of the 8th to defeat Eastern Michigan 4-2.

Big win as far as still getting into the MAC tournament is concerned.

Bad loss.
Broncos won today and the Huskies lost. That puts them, as well as the Rockets, at 11-15 in conference play. I think 2 of those 3 will qualify for the conference tournament. I don't know how the tiebreakers play out.
Here's a link to the story about Toledo's victory in game 2.

Rockets trail Eastern Michigan 1-0 after two innings in the regular season finale.

This season the Rockets took 2 of 3 from the Huskies and lost 2 of 3 to the Broncos, so I assume UT is in good shape if there's a two-way tie with Northern and won't make the tournament if there's a 2-way tie with Western. If there's a 3-way tie at the end of the day for the final playoff spot (which is how the day started, all three tied at 11-15) I have no idea. Akron is 12-14: if the Zips lose to Kent State they would be 12-15, so that's a factor too. Rockets lost 2 of 3 to Akron this season.
UT trails 2-0 after 4. Rockets had the bases loaded with two outs after a couple of singles and a 2-out walk in the bottom of the 4th but couldn't get a hit.
Toledo got one in the 6th and trails 2-1 going to the 7th.
Eagles lead the Rockets 2-1 going to the eighth.
Rockets have tied it in the 8th and are still hitting as I'm typing. Runners on first and second with two out.
Tied at 2 going to the ninth.
Eagles went down in order in the top of the ninth.
UT had a runner on second with two out but couldn't get him home. Going to the 10th.
Bad start to the top of the tenth for the Rockets. Eagles get a leadoff single followed by a hit by pitch. Two on with nobody out for Eastern.
And a bunt single loads the bases.
Eastern takes the lead on a wild pitch. Then the Rockets decide to intentionally walk the hitter to reload the bases. Still nobody out.
Another run for the Eagles, this time on a passed ball. A walk loads the bases again.

This is one ugly half-inning. And it doesn't look like it's anywhere near over.
Rockets finally get an out thanks to a strikeout but then another walk makes it 5-2 Eastern. Bases loaded with one out.
Rockets down 5-2 going to the bottom of the tenth.
Rockets go down 1-2-3 in the tenth and lose 5-2.
