So I have a question. Have any of you ever been over and snooped around the louisville board? It's actually quite funny. Haha they nonstop talk about "ugh I can't wait to get out of this dreadful conference. Nobody excites me." Haha this conference has 5 ranked teams right now. The Big East always had 3-4 ranked teams and at MOST 5. So it's really no different. I mean yes the big east was stronger top to bottom but still. And this one really kills me. Why do they talk about other team's fans and players being trashy?? Louisville fans are the epitome of trash. They called our fans trashy because we boo'd a lot of bad calls when Louisville was here last. Yet Lousiville fans yell, scream, cuss at, and throw things at our player as they left the court a few weeks ago. And they call our players "thugs" and "can't read or write", yet they are the ones having to kick players off the team and they're the ones with a sub par APR while ours is perfect. And alas, they forget about Francisco Garcia jumping up on the announce table when they won here in '05. He kicked drinks all over media and computers. Cussed and flipped our fans off while pumping his jersey at our fans. And they call OUR players "thugs"??? I know I'm on my soap box, but I just had get that out ha. I just don't get why they continue to think they are high and mighty when fans of all programs continue to call them out and put them in their place
as long as they stay on their forum ... who cares what they say. 04-chairshot

Always been that way, always will.
Lately I've been comparing their fans to the Clippers......fake tough guys.
I see someone went to the tigerscane school of writing and paid extra attention in "paragraph breaks 101"

It would actually be "paragraph breaks 101." You forgot your period. AND, I'll be sure to put my next post in MLA format just for you 03-wink
Erk. Again.
Why in the wide, wide world of sports would I go to the Louisville board?
bait
I go to both Louisville boards (one is more popular than the other) from time to time, esp. during basketball season. I have several friends and family members that are Cards fans and I secretly root for them as long as it doesn't negatively impact my Memphis Tigers.

I also read the Cincy, UConn and Kentucky boards because they often mention our team or school among their threads.

If you don't read them, then you're missing out on some informative and entertaining reading!! 04-cheers

No MLA necessary, just paragraph breaks. If we started requiring sources around here, every other footnote would reference the author's ass as the source.

For laughs is the only reason I could see, KRB. Otherwise, I agree that as long as they stay within their own walls, they can say/think whatever they want.

They were doing their boring "Memphis State" routine the last time I was there. I reminded them their coach likes to schtoop trailer park waitresses. That got me the hook.
Louisville...

Crum
Yum
Gum
Dumb
Bum
From their scout board
Quote:This league is benefiting from:

a) having Louisville for a year and;
b) having arguably the worst bottom half of any conference in the country, currently 0-28 against the top half. There's a good reason why it's got five ranked teams while being the 8th strongest conference by RPI, behind the Atlantic 10, Big East, and SEC.

Most years going forward they'll be a 2-3 bid conference max.

This should help at least make this league feel super legit for the single year we reside here.
FLossY out...
