Taken from the ACC board

You get to pick three teams in conference (preferably not OOC) who you would like to play year in, year out. First two are must haves, third is one that you'd like to have, fourth is what you'd be willing to settle for.

For UGa (Georgia):

Florida
Auburn

Tennessee
LSU
1. Georgia
2. Tennessee

3. Florida
4. South Carolina

ACC / Annual Crossover Rival

1. Georgia Tech
2. Clemson
3. Florida State
4. Virginia
For A&M:

LSU
Arky

Those 2 we want every year.

3 is a little more open but I think we have nice growing rivalries with Ole Miss, Auburn and Bama so any of them would work

I think he is implying those schools from the Eastern Division that you would most like to play annually.
For Kentucky:

Tennessee (the only critical one)

Florida
I think the 3rd could become Missouri.

Kentucky doesn't have any must-have rival other than Tennessee. Vandy is nice for proximity, but having the bball championships and playing frequently at LP Field makes playing Vandy unnecessary. Playing in Nashville is more important than who we play here.

Keeping Louisville as an ACC crossover would be most important to the fanbase.

You get those already man. Who out of the East do you want?

I'd guess Florida is one of them, and then maybe Mizzou?
Alabama's is Tennessee.

The rest are all about even, maybe Florida and Georgia with slightly more interest.
UVa
Dook
Georgia Tech/Wake Forest

oops! wrong league!

How about UVA, Duke, Georgia Tech, and, say, Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina every year, as well? Come into the light, XLance. We can make room for several more 04-cheers

As a lifelong Tennessean (Dad's family is from Kentucky with ties, thus my fanhood), I can't wait for UT-Bama to mean something again. It is more fun when those fan-bases get chirpy.

I agree entirely.

The series has always been streaky though.

I think Butch is going to change them for the better. I have mixed feelings about that! 04-cheers
My bad,

hmmm well we don't have much history with the eastern teams so its kind of a crap shoot.

Possibilities:

Tennessee (Davy Crockett Cup)
Georgia (Bowl of Bones)
Florida (La Migra Bowl)
South Carolina (Battle of the Spurs)
Kentucky (Clash of the schools that stink at the sport the other one takes seriously")

I mean exactly what I said. Basically, imagine the SEC without divisions.

Sorry about that, it's hard to teach an old Dog new tricks. My list would include Alabama in second position behind Georgia. I'll never put the Tide on any list in the number 1 position. And I don't think we'll go the route of the ACC's ideas, but will play along.
