Why can't we get a 7 fter ever? Difference maker even if they aren't good.
We have had them, but the ones we've had were terrible.

Kareem cooper was pretty close to 7 feet high.

The guy we played tonight did one thing well and he did it over and over. If we had double teamed him or sagged back on him, he wouldn't have had as much of an impact.

A player is either 7 foot or not.
Yea if ur 7 ft you play that tall. You carry urself. If ur under your game is going to be dif. I'm 33 and seriously don't remember us getting a guy that tall.
7 footers generally don't want to play our fast break style.
They like to play on teams the play in the half court.
Mundt is the last one I remember that was a TRUE 7ft.
We've had our chances to get 7-footers. But most are storks who can't get up and down the floor. Hey, the Big 10 needs players, too!

Hard to find a 7 fter that can play out style. Amare, Tyson chandler, durant - that's the type of big we need (yes, I know what your going to say).
Nerlen Noel is probably the most recent big that could play our style.

This guy is 7'1" 325 ... That's just B I G . Woodson (the team) was told, DON'T LET HIM DUNK OR SHOOT IF HE GETS TO THE BASKET. He can't. hit FTs. He did fine ... except. he grabbed BOTH his shoulders pulled him down. Woodsons got a lot more to learn about the game ... the big Polish dude can get him back next year ... Woodson better be ready.
Some programs never get a 7 footer, we had Bedford and a few 6-11 stars like Lorenzen
