I remember recently a poster said people don't remember the app w over mich... Funny how I was talking to a mich fan and he was hating on app, a WCU kid who only cares about baseball was quick to mention mich kid was probAbly still angry about the loss... WCU May neighbor app but the fact both remember it and the WCU doesn't follow college sports but remembered that fact makes me confident no one has forgotten, as I stated in that thread, app fans don't mention Michigan, we don't have to, everyone else does for us.

You just started a thread about that win over Michigan saying you guys don't ever talk about that win over Michigan. That's like me saying we never talk about our 6 National Championships.... Wait, you guys are aware we have 6 National Championships, right???? ...Cause we do.... six of em. 04-cheers
Wait...... so what was the point of the thread? C'mon man, don't make us look bad.

It was a response to a post in a thread a while ago, didn't feel like going back and finding that thread but did feel like disproving his belief that app had lost all national recognition from the michigan win, it simply irked me that he was so set in a belief that only hardcore fans could remember the win.
I went to Stool Pigeons that night (sports bar in downtown Charlotte) to watch the UT-Cal game (they were kicking off at 8:00). All the waiters/waitresses looked like they'd been thru WWIII.

Me and my buddies ordered a round of Bud Lights, and I don't think I've ever tasted a beer that warm. I call the waitress back over, and ask if they had any cold Bud Light. She apologized and said "No, the Appalachian State fans drunk us completely out during the Michigan game.".

I have to admit...that's pretty impressive App fans :)

It was a response to a post in a thread about the cusa vs sbc and the guy had stated theres no longer any national recognition from that win, so technically it was still brought up by someone else, it had been bothering me that he was so smug and certain in his belief. So i guess it just stuck with me till i found a situation in which i could mention something that would disprove his belief slightly
This is such an odd thread.
If it was us. I'd talk about it.

Yea, in retrospect I should have just found the thread that riled me up and posted it in response to him there.

Or maybe you should have just ignored it and not shared your cool story bro with us.
So you asking two people proves your point in what way? and one of them a Michigan fan. Now I really feel bad about even engaging you in a debate on this subject...

or for that matter any topic

I feel like I just kicked my dog, beat a child, hide a crippled persons wheel chair, changed a blind persons furniture around, or a thousand other things that would just be wrong.

If I said I'm sorry and asked for forgiveness would that help...If I was Catholic I would run out right now for confession

Good thing i don't care about WKU fans opinions, feelings, or thoughts. I haven't found many of you that I like to any extent, and considering you took the top prize in this thread for most veracious and rude post my disinterest in the WKU fanbase continues to grow.

Hoover High School has 3 or 4 National Championships, I believe.

Hey I said I was sorry for even getting into the first debate on this subject with you....it was me that brought up no one outside of diehard fans,,,or fans that have a interest in the two schools (conference mates) that remember that game took place.

If I knew what I just figured out when you started this thread...

I never would have engaged you on any topic. You are correct I was wrong...Go App St

For the most part, nobody cares about anyone's opinions, feelings, or thoughts but their own.
I am sorry that the fact that SOME WKU fans do not agree with you on certain things causes you to dislike all of the WKU posters that I would guess you have never met.
Personally, I am hurt and offended that you do not like me. It isn't my fault.03-hissyfit
