Just came accross this....frankly its dampened my spirits a bit

Quote: National coverage: Each year, a minimum of 14 games will be featured on ESPN or ESPN2, including a significant presence on Thursday, Friday and select Sunday nights plus featured games on Labor Day and Thanksgiving weekends and select Saturdays. ESPNU and will also present at least five BIG EAST games each season. In addition, ABC will offer three games annually and ESPN360 may also present matchups.

-- Maybe its just the wording...but "significant presence on Friday and only select Saturdays" doesn't sound good to me

Jackson
Your spirits were up?
This is not cool. None of the information released from the press conference mentioned any Friday games. That is not good.

Yes, the only time during the regular season when it's good to play on friday is the day after thanksgiving. every other friday is a bush-league time and signals "not ready for prime time" ...
I heard 17 guaranteed games, 1 Sat. and 4 Thursdays. How many Fridays Jackson, this is not good. It is like a CUSA contract! We have to split because the football schools could get a just as good basketball package with Memphis, Louisville, Cincinnati, UConn, Syracuse. Pittsburgh, and West Virginia.
