Sales letters arrived today, renewal period starts in May.

Most notably, they are increasing the cost of getting Green and Gold Room access.
I got mine a day or two ago. The minimum donation for a few sections, including mine, went up as well. It's not really a big deal, but I'm sure some will complain.
I'm not really going to complain, since mine only increases $50 for the 2 seats. However, I'm sure some will not renew. There comes a point where it is just not justified as an expense. I would rather see more effort filling the empty seats, rather than increasing the price for the few of us that do attend games. It it almost penalizing us for being faithful. (Yes, I know I'm supporting the school/program(s)/athletes.)
I was hoping to increase my 2 season basketball tickets to 4 seats, but that won't happen now. At least not for a few years.

Additionally, it hurts to pay an increase to watch teams like Newberry, UNA, etc. Some will likely elect to purchase only the higher profile games... and then only when UAB has a competitive team/record. Especially now that several of the upper level seats require a decent "donation."
Any word of changes for Blazer Club for football?
The raise in donation for access to the G & G Room is to lessen overcrowding in the G & G Room... a $1,250 donation plus season ticket cost will price many people out for sure.
With my donation level I get an autographed program from Reid prior to every game.

Did you check to make sure the autograph wasn't Davis or McGee?
My guess is that marketing believes that by increasing the base price on some of the season ticket levels that they do two things:

1. They get a little bit more money out of the die-hards that will get their tickets regardless and don't view it as a major jump.

2. They'll increase the value proposition of the multi-game packs.

They already raised the price of the single game tickets this year, so they know that with success those will sell.

I just wish they provided a slightly better gameday experience with the price increases. Concessions still suck in general (selection wise...but I won't go into that debate again), the halftime entertainment is completely weak (as are almost all of the marketing attempts besides UAB Fan Pics), and there's not much of pre-game festivities going on for the general fan except for an overpriced Dreamcakes truck and a frat tent.

Still, all that goes away with WINS BABY (and a decent home schedule).
probably should have not sent this out after losing to ECU.

"Of" is a valued preposition.

Amen.
14-7 and jacking up prices.
Wow

The corporations won't flinch at renewal but some of the individual donors might.

Already tons of empty seats in 105,106, 115 and 116 for most the games and going to get worse with new CUSA teams.

For all the squatters in those sections, which there are tons of, this is great news.

The ticket crew stands at the entrance to every lower level section. If squatters can get by i need to get some of their secrets.
Snort. I sit front row in 109. I go up and down to the concession stand every game and have not had my ticket checked once this season.

In fairness, I have an >ahem< distinctive appearance, so folks may remember me... but not once?

Buy section 101 seats, watch and wait till tip and then grab jacket and move to empty 105...116 seats...

As far as getting from 200 level down, no clue unless you marry an event staff member or something....

I'm in 109 too. They stopped me a couple of times early in the season, but I haven't been stopped recently. The ticket checker on our section seems pretty apethetic.
Regarding having my ticket checked upon entering section 207, I would say it has happened three times this season.
I'm the guy with the eyepatch and ponytail down front. Holler when you see me go by.

Like I said, I pretty much gave up on inconspicuous awhile back.
I'm Gary Sanders. I dare someone say a word to me.
