I guess the writers don't share the disdain for our team as those on here.
Our miserable fans still think we are playing in CUSA.
I had a feeling we would still be ranked.
Good deal. Pastner's reputation nationally is much better than on this board.
Louisville still at #14, Uky still in at #18.
AND Gonzaga is ranked #23

Cincy up to #7
Never underestimate the power of ESPN, Gameday is coming her and having us both unranked would not look good. I know this is the writers but just feel that has something to do with it, maybe not.

Kill Rutgers and bag another win against a ranked team. No excuses on Saturday.
Kentucky could go 0-30 and they would still get several AP votes.
Crazy.

Only games this week with two AP Top 25 ranked teams:

#22 UConn @ #7 Cinci
#16 Iowa State @ #19 Oklahoma State
#10 Michigan @ #17 Iowa
#23 Gonzaga @ #24 Memphis
It's February and we still have the potential for three top 25 games.....look back at the past 7-8 years and let that sink in for a minute!
This board is nothing but miserables these days...I'm sure they're crushed over this news.

Good chance for UCONN to get a nice jump in the rankings.

Cincy could take a loss and not drop too far right now.

Good for the conference.
Beat ranked Gonzaga Saturday. Then the following Saturday we need to beat ranked Uconn on the road to get that game back. I think both happen.

Then Louisville, Cincy, SMU to end the season. Then AAC tourney. We should play a minimum of FIVE more games against ranked teams including AAC tourney. Go 4-1 or better and could be looking at a 4 seed. Still a LONG way to go, and we are in a good spot.

It's been a LONG time since we had this many "big game" opportunities coming up down the stretch of a season. I hope the team is up for it and gets it done. Will be exciting ride either way.

Never mind. I'm not sure who I would obviously put in front of them. Slim margin between 14 and 25.
Memphis makes a strong run to end the season and we're still looking at a good seed. We are NOT in CUSA anymore!!!!!
