With all the snow and cabin fever I've been thinking about our entrance into FBS. This year the entrance should be high tech, awesome music and start the true traditions.
So what are your thoughts of intros on to the field? Never to early to start this planning. Last year was weak and so uninspiring. By the time the team comes the music should be pumping and the student sections going nuts.
I would love to see the team interact with the students more on the field. Its their school. Coach should support that. Let them sing the alma mater with the students. Run around the student sections. Get them pumped up.
The music should be rocking everyone singing and yelling. Last year was sit down and clap music.
This year let's rock foreman field and give our team the welcome they deserve ODU.
First and most importantly let us make sure that whoever was involved with the men's basketball intro this year is not allowed within a thousand miles of this new production.

I think the team entrance song should be Red Riders lunatic fringe. Use a portion of it the same way Tech does enter sandman to get the crowd amped up. You know when that starts it okay it is time for football. Of course you also need cheerleaders to do this as well. They are conspicuously MIA pregame. One more thing stick with lunatic fringe for a couple of years to see if it will catch on. I think Foreman might actually rock.
Metallica (just not Enter Sandman) or some clipped and looped Avenged Sevenfold. Metal is the way to go, IMO, and there's a lot of possibilities!
Lunatic Fringe is an epic song, also one of my favorites.
Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold is very applicable.
Which is an obvious being the Thundering Herd and all.
Does Pharrell have any music that would be ideal for football entrance? That would be pretty cool to incorporate a local artist.

Maybe not me either, but whatever will get our fans and team pumped and generate some publicity.
Not football related, but I remember seeing this a few years back and loved it. Here's Melvin Manhoef's entrance from 2009 in his hometown of Amsterdam. I'm sorry, but if this doesn't give you chills you have no pulse.
