This is gonna be a huge game for the Dawgs. UTEP is playing good basketball and we gotta win to keep up with USM. Gonna be a hell of a game.

I really don't like this match up. La. Tech will press UTEP all game and we only have 1 true guard. I think CJ might have to play 40 minutes tonight. The only reason UTEP has a chance IMO is because the game is in the Don. UTEP will be trying to win the schools 500th game in the Don tonight. UTEP is 499-146 in the Haskins Center and I hope the crowd will provide a little extra boost to the guys so they can grind out a win tonight.

Agree. This game and the game at USM are the 2 games most likely to be losses but that's not guaranteed. I expect the Miners to play within their limits, work a little longer for good shots and try to make this a game in the 50's. Hopefully an exciting, down to the wire game.

I'm pulling for you UTEP. Only because I want to see you move into the top 100 in RPI before you come to Hattiesburg.

Interesting matchup. We suck against big teams, but do well against weak guard play. Should be a good one.

UTEP will have to play a big line-up and will have good guard play. But no real depth at guard could do us in. This game should be on tv.

I will be in attendance at the Don for this one. Expecting a tight game. I agree that the Bulldogs press might decide the game, but hoping for a victory. GO MINERS!

I'm sure I'll come home with a sore throat for yelling my Miners to victory. (Fingers crossed) Everyone talks about la techs defense but ours isn't mince meat as they'll find out. Hopefully la tech will take us lightly.

Always blows my mind that the driving time from Los Angeles to UTEP is about the same as from Houston.
