Am I missing something with this kid? I can't seem to find anything on him as a prospect, but the highlights look impressive. Defensive player of the year and 1st team all state LB from Ypsilanti, as well as a running back.

Obviously, he lacks ideal height at somewhere between 5'8"- 5'10" 210. I would expect at least SOMETHING given that he was an all state player.

He is also listed as one of the top unoffered players on the D Zone

Was able to watch him the past couple years. Although he is a solid football player, I think he's more of a tweener than anything on the d1 front, which could hurt him. Seemed like a better linebacker to me than running the ball quite honestly. Benefitted from being a great athlete in an un-athletic league and although he is a solid player, I see him more d2 talent than anything.

I find it curious that he hasn't landed somewhere yet though. Grades ? Off field issues ? Who knows....

While I can't comment on this young man's ability I do disagree with calling the SEC an "unathletic league". Between the AA schools, Saline, Chelsea, Lincoln and the others there are a lot of good FB players in that league.

Should have made myself more clear. The SEC-White lacks big time athletes. Outside of Lincoln and Ypsi you have teams like Chelsea, Dexter, Tecumseh, and Adrian. While all of those schools are pretty good, one thing they are not known for is athleticism
