In fact he looked like he had two or three clues. I thought he played pretty good defense while he was in the game. Gene mentioned to me during warm-ups that Poulter looked like he was limping while walking. I watched him for a while and I agree that he sure looked like he was limping even when he walked.

Surprisingly, not only did he have a clue, he was calling out directions to our defensive players. I was impressed with his leadership having played so little. He doesn't get down the court fast, but he runs hard. Steve says they want him to get down to 250, which he's really working on. I don't know what he weighs right now. And he has very good hands and can receive quick passes and put the ball in the hole. I think he could be a real asset to the program the next few years.
