So Warren Buffet is going to insure a Quicken Loans contest. Pick the entire March Madness bracket correctly, win $1B. $25m/yr for 40 years or $500m right now.

Yeah, I'm thinking I might fill one of those out.

Then again, Warren Buffett isn't exactly known for making bad bets.

A guy can dream, though, right? 03-2thumbsup

Dreaming is a good thing. If you don't fill one out, you won't win. If you do fill one out, you still won't win but you'll think there is an infinitesimal chance you will win. Nothing wrong with that.
Probably about the same odds as winning the powerball and this is free.
Damn! A Billion $$$$$!!!! ****!!!! I'm gonna have to take a run at this!
I won the money!
The money is mine!
I won the money!
The money is mine!
As with the lottery plus Powerball, there are no bad guesses until the games are played or the numbers are selected.
There are more than nine quintillion possibilities for the tournament, i think we need a few more Blazer fans to ensure one of us wins.
What if it's a really good year for pretty uniforms and tons of secretaries everywhere have perfect brackets?

edit: I read that if there are multiple winners, the winnings will be split amongst them.
If one of us hits this...that's at least a new UAB Stadium/Arena every 10 years.

I'd build at least two just to piss off Paul Bryant Jr

Are you allowed to make nine quintillion different entries?
You can try.

Nine quintillion = 900 trillion. Better get cracking on filling out ballots.

Yep, one for UAB football, a second one for UAB soccer/MLS/World Cup...

No, I have a religious objection to soccer.

I'd build the greatest high school football stadium in the state and get the Super Six out of Tuscaloosa.

If it guaranteed a billion dollars, you know somebody would try.
I'm not even going to attempt the math of taking the number of seconds between now and the opening tip of the tournament and dividing by 900,000,000,000,000.
When companies set up these huge pay out contests, they usually take out an insurance policy to protect themselves in case they have to pay out. How much would such a policy in this case cost "the company"?

Someone with actuarial experience may be able to figure this out.
