My son was at a soccer prospect camp at Duke this weekend and I was fortunate enough to get a ticket to see Duke vs NC State at Cameron Indoor arena. Needless to say it was everything I hoped for. The place just oozes history and the atmosphere was unlike anything I've ever been to. President George H.W. Bush was at the game as well as Christian Laettner and 10 members of the 1964 Duke Team. They let you walk onto the court after the game. I stood by NC State's 6'9 325 pound Freshman center and he was every bit of it. The Duke freshman had 23 points and looks to be a future NBA star. The caliber of athletes is very impressive. I bought a ticket from a guy outside the arena 5 minutes before tipoff so if you ever get to go, getting a ticket is not impossible.

Haven't been too Cameron Indoor for a game, but did get to go inside when I visited Duke with my son when he was looking at colleges. My son ended up going to UNC so I've been to the Dean Dome for a game and subsequently went to a game at Allen Field house since son number 2 went to Kansas. Pretty cool experiences.
