RBL, MJS, & Ynocpirt are all going on the Bus Trip. Anyone else going either on the Bus or private vehicle?

Still thinking about it.04-cheers
We're trying to get 7,000 fans. With the team 3-3. that will be hard to pull, so we need all the help we can get in attendance. Our top 20 football recruits will be attending the game, and the football team will be honored at half, the new coaching staff will be introduced, and we're supposed to have some sort of tribute for the football player murdered Wednesday.

Yes, I am aware that we are not marketing a single thing about the actual basketball game other than its UALR...but basketball is losing popularity by the day up here, so we have to try something...
You guys must have the same folks marketing that we do....

Must be nice to have a very good football program to market your basketball team. The current state of our State's 2 football programs is the reason UAF has the "rule". You guys would have beaten them the past 2 seasons. I realize that's the exception, but every once in a while they are going to be very bad and ASU will be very good in the same season. They can't take that chance.

So what would be the big deal if ASU won the game occasionally or even more often. It's just pettiness on the part of Fayetteville.04-cheers

Hey, Micky and Bob, looks like we will have plenty of leg room. A couple of kegs will go a long way, too.

It is nice to have football to look forward to. It makes following basketball a lot easier in the end.

For a school that doesn't compete against us, UAF failed to mentioned they keep offering our commitments. I guess recruiting is tough when you are 3-9.

Too bad about Joshua Liddell. As I friend of mine, who is a big ASU fan, pointed out, the only bad thing about hogs being terrible (and thus losing out on national recruits) is they start trying to sign inState players that had committed to ASU. However, he told me he would be happy to lose a couple of players to UAF each year, if it means they are finishing 3-9 every season.

Yeah, we'll gladly sacrifice a recruit or two for an Arkansas 3-9 type season...for the good of the state you know!

I'd offer to buy those of you coming up Saturday a drink from the concession stand of your choice...but I don't think I have that kind of cash to cover all of you. 03-cloud9

Hope there will be a lot of us to cover. We obviously don't "bring" as many folks as you do, but we also don't have thousands of alumni/fans living in Jonesboro like you do in Central Arkansas.

You'll still bring the largest away crowd we'll see this year outside of when UAM came in for a Women's exhibition and about 300 Marked Tree residents came out to see a recent Marked Tree grad play for them.
Doc just gave me his money for the bus trip
