Seems the media is deathly silent on this.
I guess if you're a southern hayseed like Phil Roberts anything not PC is worthy of weeks of media coverage. Or if your a southerner like Paula Deen who admitted to using the word 30 years ago, well your career is toast.
But if you're a darling of the left wing media and you say it, followed by an apology...................everything's cool.
Perhaps she should have been less crude and used the Harry Reid phrasing and called her son a "light skinned well spoken negro."
