13-24 over all with 5-4 this year. Of those 13 wins 3 against post pearl UT & 2 vs LSU & 1 in the NIT vs St. Johns.

For those who've said we just need the opportunity against top teams, your result this year, throwing out the junk teams, is 5-4. That with one top recruiting class after another.

Those are the stats. & stats are facts. This will be my only statement in this thread. I'm just going to let the facts do my arguing now.

FYI I've included non power conferences like the A10 in this as well.
You aint scared. 05-mafia
Coaches like Self, Mike K, and Izzo get to build that power conference W/L against teams like Northwestern, Illinois, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, Miami, Florida State, etc...

Pastner is building his againt teams from those conferences that should finish in the NCAA tourney. There is a big difference.

OK, I'll bite. Arguing for what?
He's undefeated against CCM so take your garbage to the Vols board. We know much better.
BigDTiger, I am just curious what are you trying to accomplish here. I am just curios is all

So what should I do with this information? Hold my head in shame? If they beat @ UConn and @ Cincy and beat Louisville @ home it'll be 16-24 and I still should hang my head?
post less, now here is something more interesting

I think the fact you started this thread means you're trying to start something...

Uhhh, a discussion maybe??? I won't be arguing in this thread though. So far, however, the facts have chased the moonshiners away.

What facts? The fact that most of those games were played away from home? The fact that a guy in his first head coaching gig needed time to develop? The fact that he had to rebuild a program?

I know the mouthbreathers think that Tiger history started in 2005 but the FACTS say that Josh Pastner has had a pretty damned good career as a head coach thus far.

I know the CUSA championships and undefeated runs mean nothing, right? I mean, I know guys like Tim Floyd and Larry Eustacy haven't ever been able to do it but still.

I know I know....Pastner should have 8 final fours, 6 national championships, an NBA title, and an Olympic Gold medal five years into his career.
After 0-13 went out the window they must try to find something new.

Exactly.....when it was pointed out last season that St Mary's was ranked in the USA Today poll the response was "Well, uh uh it was only one poll and we ALMOST lost!"

I'm done with OP.
Fact - your agenda is showing...

And that's all I'm going to say about that.

TRuEtH
I guess this is the natural progression of the 0-13 talk.

EDIT: Someone beat me to it.

I am confuse what OP is trying to do here
He's feeding his agenda; simply finding new ways to bash Pastner.

Breaking news - Pastner is still the coach at MEMPHIS. He is 13-4 this year. He beat # 5 Ok State and # 8 (in one poll) Louisville. He is a recruiting wizard. He is 3-2 in this very competitive conference. MEMPHIS is around # 22 in RPI. The big dollar boosters will decide if and when he goes, not the TAMMS that occupy this board.

On to the Houston game.
