when I said GaSt would win the league? I know there were some of you. Honestly, I didn't know they were this good, but with Harrow (a double figure scorer at Kentucky), Hunter (the coaches son, who could have played anywhere), along with their starting team back I figured they were the class of the league.
They haven't won it yet. They still have to travel to Lafayette, Monroe, Troy, Jonesboro and Little Rock. Not to mention some tough games at home. And the chance you take with a short rotation is injuries.
Ok, so we have to pray one of them gets injured so the rest of the league has a chance? It's like waiting for someone to retire so you can get a promotion.
No, but when you have a two-prong attack, a lot more things can go wrong. One of their guys has the flu, or gets into foul trouble early, or something. A lot of things can happen. And they have a lot of road games left. And they only beat ASU by one at home. They had dodged the bullet so far, but the season ain't over. Obviously they are the favorites at this point, but there is a lot of season left.
All I am saying is that I am not willing to cede the season to them because they have a couple of fancy players and a fast start.

Your still looking at this Georgia State team as two-prong attack?

I'm not trying to talk smack, because I respect UALR and UALR's fans...but I have to ask, were you watching this game?

Manny Atkins scored more points today Ryan Harrow. Which prong in the two-prong attack is Atkins?

By the way, Georgia State was up on stAte by more than 10 multiple times...I think one time Georgia State even went on 22-5 run...but the team fell asleep and let stAte back in it...that's the only reason they were in the position to lose that game...obviously, as shown today, that lesson was learned.
OK. I apologize. We ought to forfeit the rest of the season and award GSU the title now.

Alright...whatever.
They still have to prove it to me.

Getting hot and beating us has been done in the past only to lose on the road here.

If they win it all, that is fine but i still think we will be there in the end.

It's like deja vu. Someone on here called it. We usually don't win in this scenario, but rather get our brains beat out. But when they come to the Jack...It's a whole new ballgame. Just ask Kermit Davis.
