Not so sure about "Viral", but it has been shared on Facebook and Twitter & gotten a great deal of attention and feedback.
Say what you want about WJOX (and much of it is well deserved), but this article and the coaching search have both gotten mention there. The talk has the usual overall big school slant, especially the bammer callers, but there has also been a good bit of legitimate discussion of the state of the UAB program and what it needs. By comparison to the usual, we've gotten some pretty decent coverage.
I'm hoping with this hire, being that he is well respected within the state schools & everything, that we will hear a lot less crap from people.
Don't hold your breath on that one.
