how does $200k in base salary and $250k from ODAF stack up against our *new* primary basketball rivals? (ie. Campbell, Monmouth, VA Wesleyen, Chowan, Tommy Teck and JMU)
I hope there is double that in incentives. Kind of thought the salary may have been lower to start. Thats OK though, the guy is showing me he can coach.
Does anyone really know how ODAF figures into negotiations? Does Selig work a deal and committ ODAF or does someone from ODAF also take part in the actual negotiations? Is ODAF just a rubber stamp and do what Selig says or do they actually have a voice in contracts? Are there actually 2 seperate contracts?
Maybe HM could write an article about this.

He's earned every paycheck so far. He's coaching a very lackluster team and getting the most out of them. I have a good feeling about this program going forward.
I think Blaine's first contract was like $190K/yr.
Congrats to JJ. He has done a great job of pulling this team together.

I agree completely. I am excited to see what they do on this Florida weekend trip. If we come home 3-0 in conference with a big home game with Southern Miss, who would have thought this at the beginning of the season?

Not really. Jones has overachieved and beaten teams I wouldn't expect him to beat. Barefoot has gravely underachieved and lost some questionable games.
