I decided to compare Leroy's stats to Stetsons, and guess what I found.
Per minutes played, and free throw percentage, Stetson has better stats than Leroy. Free throws. Leroy 66.7%...Stetson 71.4%. Rebounds per minute. Leroy .10. Stetson . 20. and Steals per minute Leroy .02..Stetson .03. Now we look at scoring, and at this point, there's no comparison. Stetson hasn't shot well. He's only attempted one three point shot and missed it. But his two point shots haven't been falling either, but I'm still convinced as he gets more time, he'll start to show some ability to score.
If he can rebound and play defense, he'll get some time in Steve's plans.
I would think he and Jerron Washington will fight it out next year to replace Leroy.04-cheers

I will happily acknowledge you were right about Devonte (although, of course, you hadn't seen him play). Kemi and Stetson are still big question marks for me. They are getting playing time as sophomores, so they may still be significant contributors if they get to their senior seasons.

Let's hope they all do well. D'Vonte has met and exceeded my expectations. I just felt that his pedigree was too good not to make him successful here. And you can see that the team just functions better with him in the lineup. I worry about Thursday, because Steve will probably try and limit minutes so the team will be rested for Saturday.
But the problem with that is sometimes you lose the Thursday game worrying about the Saturday game. I remember Stan Heath losing a first round game against an inferior team in the NCAA because he said later, he was trying to keep his team fresh for the next game. In a tournament situation, there is no next game. It's all about this game. Probably a good rule to follow even in the regular season.04-cheers
