...and finally misses on a third chance, his first miss of the season.

United reduced to ten men. Ferguson is in the stands, and looks p**sed.
Liverpool now sitting in second place, one point behind Chelsea, and two points ahead of Manchester City (who has two games in hand).

With Arsenal stalling, a top three finish seems probable for Liverpool.

Remaining home matches vs. Tottenham, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle, along with three road matches with lower tier teams, should make for an interesting last two months.
Back in first place, with a home match against Manchester City scheduled in two weeks. Suarez sets the Liverpool Premier Leage mark for goals in a season, with his 29th.

Tottenham looks like they may be finished as far as a top four spot goes. Everton with a shot to catch Arsenal for the fourth spot.

Spurs have been out of the running for top 4 since February 23rd. I guess it is possible to win out(easy remaining schedule with not teams above 10th) and SCUM and Toffees drop points everywhere. Wouldnt count on it though.
Liverpool has shown up today, with an impressive 2-0 lead over Manchester City at the half. Instead of Suarez and Sturridge, it's Sterling and Skrtel with goals. Sterling has been outstanding. City closed with a couple of strong chances, though. The second half should be a gem.

If Liverpool pulls this off, they are in charge of the league race.
Stunning turn of events, as City score twice to even the score. Sturridge limping off the pitch.
Coutinho saves the day! Liverpool survives a late Henderson red card, and now in control with four matches left.
Chelsea/Liverpool in a couple weeks is going to be for all the marbles.

And still an opportunity for City to steal this if Liverpool and Chelsea draw, or stumble in any other matches.

Should be a wild finish.
I think City is too far out now and Chelsea better get a goal here or they are going to leave some points on the table.

Great goal by Demba Ba to win it, but Chelsea would have run away with the championship this season if they had Liverpool's or City's strikers.

On the other hand, maybe Chelsea's style affects it's scoring.
Suarez getting a lot of heat for his flop yesterday. Pretty blatant, and probably should have gotten him bounced.
Sunderland becomes Liverpool's best friend, drawing City earlier this week and now beating Chelsea outright, snapping Marinho's legendary home winning streak.

Liverpool headed to Norwich tomorrow.
