Dorsey? Massey? Coleman? Wright?

I want to finish the sentence with "Wright" right now.
Dorsey. Let's not get carried away!

He leads in the knocked down ref stat.

Uh, no. Did you watch Lorenzen Wright? Shaq is awesome right now, but Lorenzen averaged 16 and 10 in his two seasons.
He said SINCE Wright. He didnt say Shaq is better than Wright.
Massie was much better, but Shaq keeps getting better.

Correct...I misread that. If Shaq keeps improving at this pace we might be having that conversation anyway.

I don't think he was much better. He was featured. If Shaq was featured, he'd be an 18 and 8 guy every night.
Shaq's a sophomore with the necessary skill set of a post to excel. His great smile, attitude and apparent self discipline and focus should, injury free, grant him not only looks from but an appearance in the NBA. Really like this kid's margin of improved performance in just one year.
What about Omar? Always forgetting about 6'4" Omar Sneed and his old man moves. He was awesome.
Right, we are talking about just a few games at this point.
I am really high on Shaq right now because he was my biggest concern coming into this season was our frontcourt, mainly Shaq. But, I don't think you would be wrong to call him our best player right now.

Don't have to be featured to grab rebounds
Better than Dorsey, much better than Coleman. Not at Massie level. I think that's a good comparison. Wright was great. Someone on twitter likened him to Kenneth Faried. I like that.

Part of that is him staying on the court. When he doesn't get into foul trouble, he grabs boards and scores.
I'm so glad we landed some solid bigs in Shaq and Nichols. Good big men are hard to come by.
I wish we could say Dozier or Taggart but those guys weren't true post players in my opinion.
