Glad to see Tulane bounce back, been a rough two months for their basketball.

Thanks, and "rough" is putting it mildly.

We had a very weak OOC schedule with 3 "legit" opponents and 12 cupcakes. We lost to 4 of the cupcakes and were 8-7 going into C-USA play. And we got raped by Kansas State and Tulsa.

Edit: Tulane 73-62 is the final. Now 9-8 overall and 1-1 in C-USA

I'm sorry. If it's any consolation, that pg you had was ultra talented. Also, some of your bigs are looking like they could develop into very good players. I remember you beat us out on recruiting a couple of bigs that I saw on your roster, so you can't be too far down the ladder if we're recruiting similar players.

Thanks for the comments. Tulsa might be pretty good this year...played a tough ooc schedule.
The PG is very good. We have other goods one and we will be competitive at guard next year
But those bigs you saw are all we have....basically 3 of them who can even get on a court, and the 2 freshmen need a lot strength building and experience to compete in this league. They really struggle on defense....our guards have to help down low, and when that happens, teams drill us from the 3 point line......Tulsa schooled us in that regard.
Tulsa never should have fired Doug Wojcik...four straight 20+ win seasons...two straight 25 win seasons.

Wojcik was only slightly more mediocre than Pastner is. He was not a good Coach, and he wasn't good to the players. They really didn't like him.

You think Pastner is a bad coach still?
Pastner is good and getting better.
