The schedule is more favorable that 2013.

I could see wins against Morgan State, Old Dominion, UMass, Western Michigan and Akron.

I know those aren't great wins but after the last few years we need to start somewhere and 5-7 wouldn't be terrible.
ODU will be a very big/tough/tight FB game.
It's kind of frustrating as a fan to look at a schedule where the team plays on the road for almost a month.
Season opener in August at Rynearson, then three straight away weeks.

This. I'm not gonna circle that one as a win, by any means.

Glad we finally get Akron and UMass. Two straight years of Ohio and Bowling Green was brutal enough.
I love this schedule and one that is good for us..

We have a chance for a bowl game in 2014..

Gotta develop the defense before we talk bowls.

You are correct my friend, the defense will need much improvement along with ST..

I think CC also is aware of this and is the reason that he is taking his time with picking someone.. It seems as if CC is "Joe Cool" and a person who doesn't just react to be reacting without having thought thru what the possible outcome will be..

Again the AC picks are very important and will determined how quickly we "Right the ship".

I don't think the defense will be too bad once we have everyone on the same page and in their right position.. CC has about 3-4 months to set the tone with these kids for the fall..

Yeah but I am sure the $$$$ is nice. If this is the bad thing in this schedule, I can live with it.. This season is more favorable then the past 2 years..
I was reviewing the 2014 schedule and the key for us is protecting our turf. Winning at home and playing .500 football on the road. This year it's doable.

We could beat Akron on the road too...

That MAC road schedule is pretty sweet, with Ball State being the only automatic loss.
Keep in mind that there are lots of coaches changes and NIU and Ball state are losing alot of starters..

The CMU will be a good one and it's at home.. That should help us..
I hope you get a night game at the Swamp. The heat this year was brutal.Had to spend the 3rd quarter under the stands just to get my body temp down. Paramedics and h2o all over the place. I live in S FL but this was the worst. The game atmosphere was tremendous. Tailgating not the best because it is spread out all over the place with no centralized lots anywhere near the stadium. I was there at 9am and parked at the lake past fraternity houses. So get there early.
