He's at UCF, played at Georgia Tech, and went to Trussville HS. Anyone know of him? Looks like he and John Neal are candidates.

Based on what sources?
He talks to Chris in Math class too.
I was caught off guard when McGee was hired, so I certainly haven't a clue what Mackin may do.

I do recall recommending John Neal or Bill Clark at the time to him.

That & 55 cents will buy you a coke.

I never had an opportunity to meet Chris in Math Class before he died of Stage IV Lymphoma, unfortunately. The memorial was very nice, though.
Key makes $231,000 at UCF......Neal $322,000 at Oregon. Key is highly regarded as an ASSISTANT. I wonder if we will go the assistant route again?

Key would be able to possibly fill one of his assistant positions with Tyson Summers too. Which is a good hire.

Didn't answer the quesh though. :-)
Isn't key interviewing at UAT... That means we can't have him...
Time to hire a defensive coach. Had enough of these offensive guru's. You win football games with defense. UAB has not had a defensive style coach since Jim Hilyer. And guess who won football games.
Maybe if we explain it to the BoT that with a good hire for UAB we may could weaken a SEC West school as well, they will allow us to get a better coach and some nice new buildings.

Will Friend could make the BOT happy.

That source was an article written by him. I was just curious where he got the information from.

Not a real coke, but a Sam's Soda from the employee vending machine.

Now that you mention it, they did go up on the rate to 65 cents for a coke in the vending machine at work.

No idea. I think he posts here frequently, but not sure if he is already posting in this thread or not.
Who knows? It's fun to speculate, but also pretty useless.

I'd never heard of McGee OR Haase when they were hired.
