Thanks, how formal is it? Is it appropriate to take a young kid (well behaved)?

Great, thanks! We were looking to go on the 22nd, my son's 5th birthday. I've never been to one and just wanted to make sure it wasn't a suit and tie type event. He'll want to wear his ODU jersey (even though it is football). Do they usually do autographs? I was thinking of grabbing a basketball from the bookstore if they do, but I don't want to be pushy about it.

Historically, the players who are there will do autographs, especially for kids.

How was it this morning?

Very good breakfast. Awesome coaching staff !! I have no doubt, over time, this staff will get it done. Stith is a wealth of knowledge and really relates the the players. No doubt these guys are prepared each and every game. Also, they truly care about each and every kid. I think they have been hitting the JUCO ranks hard for a big or 2. JUCO is a different beast and you often see many late signings. I think that will be the case for us.

I'm really disappointed in the lack of promotion and communication for this event. I know they sent an email out in December but I'm not aware of anything since. I didn't receive any emails this week - nothing on Twitter - can't find even a mention of them on the odusports.com website. Am I missing something? Between ODAF and ODUMBB - they have got to communicate better for these events. I hope the crowd was good this morning. I'm confident it could have been better.

Emails and postcards were sent out to ODAF members well in advance and several more recently, so I cannot agree that this event was not promoted.

I found out on Facebook. They posted it at least a couple of times.
