Bad times for our "best" win. Bad FT shooting. ZERO shooters. I feel for Roy.
They'll beat undefeated Cuse in the Dome though
My take on the decline of UNC is that there is something going on within the team that affects its chemistry. They have defeated too many good teams this season to suddenly forget how to play winning basketball.
Possibly some major sanctions coming soon. Haase probably glad he got out.
Like MB said, Roy has really coached up this team. Based on their line-up, they shouldn't have won the games they've had.

Really on top of the story, aren't you? 03-lmfao
Their per student funding has probably gone down.
I could understand losing to Texas and wake forest on the road, but losing to Miami at home was pretty bad. But of course, knowing UNC this year, they will proceed to beat Syracuse at home..
And we've now lost our top 25 and top 50 win :(

Not going to matter anyway since the concensus on this board is that UAB needs to win the CUSA Tourney to get a bid to the Dance.

I don't agree with that. I know the conference isn't spectacular, but if we went 15-1 or 16-0 during the regular season, I think we'd have a legit argument. We also don't know anything about the bubble this year, so that could play a part in it. It's far too early to say we have to win the conference tourney though in my opinion.
We can get an at large. We need USM and La Tech to run thru the conference and maintain their RPI ratings. Then we need to beat them as well as most everyone else on the schedule.

It won't help us if we do well in CUSA, but everyone else beats each other up.
That's my biggest fear this year. There are enough teams that are good, but not great that can really hamper any teams trying to pull away. ECU can score points, so that makes them a threat on any night. Tulsa played a ***** of an OOC schedule, so they should be tested. North Texas beat a Big XII team by 20 points. Charlotte and UTEP have been all over the map, although UTEP is likely in trouble they can still knock some teams off. I don't know what we'll see at the end, but I'm guessing 13-3 or 12-4 will win the conference, and I don't know if that's good enough for an at large for any team.

I was referring to having a Top 25 RPI win. It really doesn't matter if UAB has one or not if it is Tourney Champs or bust for the Blazers.
