Less than 200 seats remain for Friday's game vs Miami. Saturday's game is down to standing room only. 1-888-4-WMUTIX http://wmbroncos.com/tickets

LETS GET SOME MORE WINS THIS WEEKEND! We played really strong in the GLI, and we need to continue to keep working hard!
And they couldn't do the same when North Dakota came to town? 01-lauramac2

It's gonna take some time for the more casual fans to catch on. Be patient.
That GLI win has to be a factor I would think.

Speaking of the GLI win, do we get a banner for Lawson or no? I know there is one hanging at the Joe, but do we get to keep it?
i'd imagine we won't hang one (we don't have one for the 86 win) but it'd be cool if we got the one from the Joe when it came down.
I think winning the GLI will get the casual fans a bit more amped up.
Miami is a team that everyone knows as a long time CCHA rival.
It will take some time for fans to catch on to the new conference schools. I think that has been a bigger issue than anticipated.
And maybe most importantly, college football season is officially over (ours was done in September). But now it feels like hoops and hockey season, so I think we will start to see better attendance.
Well, we beat a "name team" to the casual fan, that has to overcome their immediate dismissal of anything WMU. Muuuuuaaaahhhh.
Correct
Hopefully the packed house will inspire the team to a sweep over an old CCHA rival. 6 points could really shoot us up the standings. I developed a lasting hate for Miami after that CCHA finals loss.

Yep. Hope we give 'em hell!

Especially since we have tickets for the game @ Miami next month. Will be even more fun if they're pissed after a tough series in Kalamazoo this weekend.

They are calling us "hapless" on the miami board. Last I checked we had the same record........

What board? Let me at em!!!! I know where all their weak spots are an will expose them on their own board....

If Wingles, Mooney and Hamilton are in the lineup tonight, they will really struggle in their d-zone

Sadly it's damn near impossible to get approved on miamihawktalk.com.

Yeah, they are a pretty insular group over there. I tried a few years back and gave up.
i'm seeing a lot of empty seats 03-hissyfit
I honestly think local businesses bought up a bunch of the seats this year and their employees don't use the tickets. Every game there are hardly any tickets left but then the place is only like 60-70 percent full.

Thats what i was wondering. Does WMU have a ticket exchange?

If not, they should create one. This would allow the program the opportunity to re-sell these empty seats (if possible) or eventually let more of the student body in.

K-Wings had a home game last night also which might explain many of the empty seats of ticket holders. Only so many hockey fans in the area.
The student sections also had open seats.
Saturday was good. Lots of students and standing room only with some empty seats on the ends.
