Actually playing at BG is good scheduling fortune.

Our next game, after BG, is at UB. If the game at UB was tomorrow, good luck:

I see on the Internet, that BG is a 2-point favorite. I find that hard to believe. I believe EMU is ready for a big game vs. BG.

Wish I were in Vegas. 02-13-banana It's 47 degrees. 03-cloud9 Not exactly tropical but isn't Midwestern either.
Louis Orr hasn't been able to figure out our zone. Last year they beat us, but only scored 46 points (remember Jordon Crawford's 3 at the buzzer? Such a heart breaker), and the year before that we beat them 55-50. Should be more of the same this year, as BGSU isn't too good at outside shooting. Lots of good athletes, but so do we.

I think Talley and Lee have big games and lead us to a 1-0 conference start.
how will you all be watching the conference games? is All Access the best option? i'm in New Orleans for the next three months, and the only downside is missing EMU hoops games. Upsides include warm weather, incredible food, mardi gras......
The MAC website streams them all for free. And I'm jealous, Aaron.

I don't know anything about Bowling Green's team this year, but I'm going to say 79-67 EMU win.

I'm going to go 68 - 62 EMU.

One thing about this team:

We are very deep and very healthy and that should help us throughout the conference season. We've only had a few players miss a game and those were players who could have played.

At a certain point we'll have a big manpower advantage over our foes.
Anyone remember Louis Orr as a star forward at Syracuse under Boeheim? He teamed up with Roosevelt Bouie and they were known as the "Louie and Bouie show." Later on Danny Schayes and Erich Santifer teamed up as the "Danny and Santi show." My college basketball memory runs deep. I really like Louis Orr but Eastern is going to win tonight!!!
EMU 72 Bowling Green 68
If EMU is going to be a serious contender for the MAC West then this game is a must-win.
Coming off an excellent non-conference schedule I say we win by 6.
Bowling Green has looked decent as of late, with some fair wins at the end of their OOC schedule. In order to have the kind of MAC season we all would like, I think we must (and will) handle BG tonight.

EMU 78
BGSU 69

Has the latest odds.

USA Today has the game as BG -1 1/2 (never made sense to all of us posters who see a 6+ point win by EMU).

Now the game is pick em and one sports book (see above) now has EMU as a 1 point favorite.
I think......

EMU 74
BGSU 59
Maybe it's start of season optimism, but I see tonight as a comfortable win, 71-54, or in that neighborhood.

Re: Orr. He is a really nice guy and knows his stuff, but for some reasons his teams have never really seemed to be able to put it together. Maybe he is just too nice?
Beyond excited for tonights game !!! Expecting the Eagles to take the W in a close game. Where will you guys be watching the game ?
I suck at sports betting so I'll do EMU a favor and pick BG to win.
Any other stream available other than the one on mac sports ? 04-jawdrop
BGs feed doesn't have a scoreboard or a clock. This should be fun...
