He was maybe the best assistant, IMO.
He may think he's going to an AQ program but given Iowa State's record the last 5 years, he really isn't03-lmfao
Hope we're smart Enough this time around to change up the signals.
Good luck coach Lou, it has been a pleasure, and I know you will continue to develop players to excel on and off the field .You have kept your promise of watching over my baby while he was there for his college career and David's father and I appreciate that, whether it was the foot to azz in his freshman year to the behind the scene phone calls to his father and I in his Sr. Year. David is a better player and young man and I just wanted to thank you. Pat yourself on the back, because I think we did a awesome job. Love you, the Fluellen's.04-rock

That's what it sounds like from everything I've read and heard.
Wow, Ames, Iowa. That's about as middle of the middle as you can get. Must be a story there. He got family or history there?

Best wishes to Coach Ayeni!
Good Luck to Coach Lou, he was a class act. This will be a huge loss for Toledo. I really was hoping he would take over OC duties, guess not.
Good luck to him and I hope he continues to find success. This is a big loss to Toledo. I was most impressed with him and Coach Rasheed in that order. It makes sense in a couple of ways that Toledo would be losing assistants.
Agreed. This is a huge loss for the Rockets. One of the best, if not the best assistant. I wish Coach Lou well, and wish him success at ISU. Toledo cannot compete in pay for assistant coaches when they get offers from BCS teams. As mentioned before, I hope the Rocket staff is smart enough to change up their signals. Looking forward to the Rockets matchup with the Cyclones, hopefully Coach Lou will be Kareemed!!!
