Was bright and sunny here with the whole 9 yards--ground blizzard, sun dogs, a low of minus 28 tonight, wind chills of minus 60.
When I lived in New Orleans, most houses built pre-WW2 were elevated with water pipes running alongside the house, not buried. If it stayed 28 for more than 5 hours which it did every 3 or so years, pipes burst like crazy even if you ran the water and you couldn't get em fixed for a week and lived on red cross water. lol.

Same temp here. Been down there to J'Ville cool town, but ehh Daytona Beach had the night life:)

Reminded my daughter of that last night. She bought 20+ year old house out in the Davies Plantation area about a year ago.
