NBA officiating continues to be a joke. Ed Davis goes for a block, misses, then Tucker swings at Davis and they call a tech on us! Then come down the court and call a tech on the Suns. Hilarious.
Grizz might win despite the fact they are getting railroaded on the officiating when we are on the road. That one sequence where they did finally miss a foul that went our way (foul on dragic), then they missed several over the back calls on phoenix.

As much as we have gone in the paint, zbo and koufos have 0 free throw attempts. Phoenix is the one jacking up 30 3 point shots. Grizz are almost +20 on the boards.
That was a weird game. A lot of runs by both teams.
Grizz win 99-91. It's nice to bounce back after our typically disastrous 3rd quarter where we let Phoenix go on a 18-0 run. Great 4th quarter for a change with 30 pts compared to the Suns 18. Grizz one of only 2 teams (Tor) with losing home record and a winning road record.
On to Denver....
Despite all the times we went into the paint to score, zbo and koufos shot 0 free throws.

And what zbo was complaining about is still going on. We are getting jobbed on the road.

Before zbo complained, he was shooting little over 5 free throw attempts per game. So you think he might shoot about 15 free throws over the last 3 games. No, he has shot 6 free throws. That's 2 free throw attempts per game.

I call bs. Again, phoenix was the one jacking up 30 3 point attempts.

Grizz +19 on the boards. Great game guys. Won despite the home cooking. Those are the sweetest victories imo.
Wow, every starter had a negative +/- ... every bench player had a positive +/-.

A lot of variables to +/-, but that is still pretty telling.
I got ribbed here a few weeks back by a couple posters when i said to bench calathes and use Jbay at backup pg when needed. When conley came back for the new york game, jbay was playing backup pg and some shooting guard. Calathes only minutes came late in a blowout win. Jbay has been averaging 12 points and has a 2:1 assist to turnover average since the change. Also, he is shooting 53% overall and 50% from the 3 point line. Plus, Jbay is just a tougher player all around and the better fit for this current team.

Most importantly, grizz are 4-2 since the change.
Great win, need to beat Denver tomorrow night.
Just an odd year. Spurs are the only team that scares you and you build your team in that fear. Yet you sit outside the playoff in an attractive draft year.
