It's official. Good luck son.
No surprise. He needs to strike while the iron is hot. Anyone that's projected first round should go, there is no guarantee that you will not have a down year, injury etc that could hurt your draft status
It is the right decision for him to make. He needs to strike while the iron is hot and get his professional career started. Love the kid and everything he has done for the university and wish him success in the NFL.

In this case most of the Louisville Fanbase would have thrown him out if he even thought about coming back....he done so much for the School and City we want the best for him...Handle your business in the National Football League....04-cheers
I would be shocked if Bortles and Manziel don't declare, too.
Hope Bortels has a massive stat night. Baylor can be beaten. I could see all 3 going in first 10 picks. Teddy, Thank You for all the special memories You brought to the Louisville fans. Heck even many Kentucky fans I know have the greatest respect for His talent.
If they are going in 1st and maybe even 2nd round they should go.

Yep, no question he made the right decision.
I agree with everyone here. We absolutely needed Teddy to go pro. He's done his job here. Good luck and do us proud!
I agree he made the right decision for HIM. Now, if the Texans draft him #1, IMO, that is the wrong decision for THEM, but that's another thread.

Well if Manziel declares to go pro then Houston needs to pick him 1

Actually, I don't think they should take a QB #1 at all. Ideally they trade down (maybe with the 49ers 2 for 1?) or use the number 1 pick to take Clowney (Make you D so riduculously good you buy the O some time to develop) or Matthews (who would be a reach at #1 overall but would help the biggest problem area- O line).
Can't wait to see him play on Sundays along with Bortles although I personally wish Bortles would stay for his last year.

This doesn't apply to Bridgewater, but there are times where a QB might be better off waiting if they are just a high prospect based on potential, but not quite "ready." Now a days you are expected to play right away and produce, with little patience given, and if you fail out of the gate your career can be doomed. Hence why a guy like Mariotta is (likely) coming back despite being a projected top 5 pick.

Doesn't really apply to other positions because they can be put in special packages until they are ready, but you can't really "hide" a quarterback.
