If we are in the mix at the top of the Belt, why will we be? If we are not, why will that be?

Talent is good enough to win.

If we are, it will be because we are at least close on rebounding and we end defensive trips with a rebound, in the past we have given up too many offensive rebounds.

If we lose

It will be because the offense spends a lot of time looking at steve. They have to have room to fail and not be over coached.

Ooc is over

North fla we lost after having ten more practices than they had and 3 summer games to their one more recent game. That one hurt and we should have won.

Tulsa and so miss were games we should have had a better showing. Neither of those schools should be better than us. I doubt any qku or usa fan feels that they are of their programs.

The rest we can put in the would have been nice bend.


Conference is here and the league is down. Wku and ull are the teams to beat but we have the guns to do it.

There is no excuse to not be at least 3rd and i still say we should win the whole thing.

You know what you have by now in most player and we sure know what we have in coaching.

JW, he has to produce in conference. He is on the level we see from wku and ull year in and out.

NOTHING WOULD PLEASE ME MORE THAN FOR STEVE TO WIN THE REGULAR SEASON AND THE SBC TOURNAMENT AND THERE IS ENOUGH HERE TO DO THAT!

I think your "If we lose" point is well taken. Teaching should be done in practice. The game is like a test. When a coach is still coaching during the game it would be like your math teacher still giving a lecture while you are trying to concentrate on taking a test. I'm not talking about during timeouts. And if you're doing allright, don't keep coaching during the timeouts. Just keep the guys relaxed, tell them to keep doing what they're doing, play good defense, and have fun.

I have no problem with the coach coaching from the sidelines occasionally when the situation demands, but if he does it all the time it just becomes white noise in the players' ears, or is a distraction.

For me, over the years steve has coached and coached from the sideline during the game and the kids have not looked like they knew the plays.

This gets me on my we need a change....

I am not content with the kids looking like they don't know the plays. It says the kids aren't coached up or they are too dumb to run them.

Either way that is on Steve.

This years bunch looks better and I want Steve to have a good chance to make a run here against the conference.

Not everyone. I hope they win everything too, but I know that there won't be a change regardless of what happens. I want to see a change even if we win the national championship. You can't win me over with a shinny new penny. I'm not like some of you guys, up and down every other day. I like Steve personally, but not as the coach, and I don't give a damn whether you believe that or not.

Well, there is enough here to win and it is on Steve to get it done and win a game in the ncaa and move on.
