Miami (OH): Miami has now officially announced the hires that we told you about weeks ago. George Barnett (offensive line) and Eric Koehler (quarterbacks) will serve as co-offensive coordinators, and Pat Welsh will coach the tight ends. Welsh spent the past two seasons as a grad assistant at Notre Dame working with Chuck Martin.

Bowling Green: Eastern Illinois (FCS) head coach Dino Babers will be the new head coach at Bowling Green per Joe Schad. The school has now announced the hiring.

Bowling Green: Four guys in consideration for the Bowling Green head job are D.J. Durkin (Florida), Ed Warriner (Ohio State), Rob Ambrose (Towson) and Dino Babers (EIU) per Pete Thamel.

Miami (OH): Athletic director David Sayler has received a five-year contract extension taking him through the 2018-2019 season.
Ball State: As we told you yesterday, Joey Lynch has been promoted to offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. Nick Tabacca has been promoted to run game coordinator and defensive line coach Chad Wilt has added the recruiting coordinator title and responsibilities.

Miami (Ohio): Illinois State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach George Barnett and quarterbacks coach Eric Koehler will join the staff at Miami (Ohio) the Bloomington (IL) Pantagraph has now confirmed (we originally told you this back on Dec 3 & 4). Brock Spack tells the Pantagraph that assistant offensive line coach Dan Clark will be promoted to offensive line coach and that he is working to fill the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks role from outside the program.

Eastern Michigan: Chris Creighton has a 5 year deal worth $400,000 annually.

Elon: Ball State offensive coordinator Rich Skrosky will be the new head coach at Elon. Skrosky has been an innovative and highly successful offensive coordinator on Pete Lembo's staff for years (been with Lembo since 2006). We think he will do well at Elon

Wake Forest: Dave Clawson said at his press conference today he'd like to bring Bowling Green offensive coordinator Warren Ruggiero, defensive coordinator Mike Elko and special teams coordinator Adam Scheier with him to Wake Forest. Clawson mentioned that one of his coordinators was a candidate for the Bowling Green head job. Through a separate source we had heard that Scheier was a candidate for the job, but have not confirmed that.

Miami (Ohio): New head coach Chuck Martin will earn $450,000 per season, $50,000 more than predecessor Don Treadwell, according to USA Today's Steve Berkowitz. Martin's contract will last for five years, according to the AP.
