thanks for all the links

Does anyone think Rideau will crack our rotation? He had a good game, but it was against a really bad team. I can understand why Madison isn't playing much as a true freshman, but Rideau is a mystery to me. He's a juco transfer with a skill set that this team is weak on. I'm not complaining, but just throwing it out there for discussion. We've done really well with our current rotation.
He will probably play more when we get on conference, but I don't see him as a part of the regular rotation this year. Haase doesn't experiment much with his lineups, especially when they work.
Yeah I agree. He seems very ironclad with his lineup decisions. That's been a
Good thing this year.

Rideau has a very relaxed, smooth shot. With Swing in a 3 pt slump, we could sure use his long range threat. Maybe his lack of minutes is just a learning curve thing. He's probably still learning the schemes and adjusting to this level. IIRC, he had some turnovers in his previous limited minutes, and looked uncertain, so that likely kept him on the bench. He's a good player, it's just we have others with more experience etc. If I recall his bio, he is an older guy, having spent time in the military prior to going to JC. Seems like a steady and likable guy, a good team player with a sweet 3 pt shot.
I wouldn't be opposed to seeing rideau and purifoy get more minutes, especially if swings shot continues to struggle. Swing has a really nice all around game, though. Just wish his 3s would start falling again.
Iv e about given up on Purifoy this year.
Swing really came through big on the defensive end last night. He said he took it personal and knew he would have to shut down one of Georgia Southern's leading scorers. Nice to see him adding that to his game.

Interesting to note that, while it feels like Jordan hasn't been hitting 3's well, he is still averaging .32.4%, so it isn't like he is pulling a MD Jr. and going for 10%. I think we are just waiting for him to have a game where he just goes off for 4 or 5 3's and that just hasn't happened. Definitely agree that Swing has stepped up the rest of his game very well, even when his shots aren't falling, and is a great contributor on the floor in other ways.
He is a real leader when he talks he sounds like a future coach. He has gone from the leading scorer earlier in his career to 6th in scoring and he sounds like he couldnt be happier because of the team success. He will come up big in conference play and march.
Swing played well, he had a good all around game, his assist and rebounding set him apart last night.
We know Swing can score, but when he rebounds brings the ball up court, assist, defend and score, with his size he becomes a hard person for a small 2 or 3 to guard.
Swing is finally taking advantage of his length...
