Last night was the first time my fiance saw "It's a Wonderful Life" which got me to wonder what "classic" movies people haven't seen. For me its
Citizen Kane. I know its on everyone and their cat's list of films to see but it's never really interested me.
Fargo...

For some reason I don't understand why the Coen Brothers continue to get praise from everyone. The only movie of theirs that I have enjoyed was Raising Arizona and even that didn't make any sense.

I feel you. I did an internship at Disney World a couple years ago and after people found out I grew up in Minnesota I could not tell you how many people were disappointed I don't have the "Fargo accent".
A couple of the classical musicals I wouldn't mind going back and re-watching. Something about the advent of technicolor and the musicals was amazing.

There are probably a few classic Hitchcocks I haven't seen.
Gandhi.
You name the horror film, and I probably have never watched it. There are a few exceptions. I did enjoy Vincent Price films for some strange reason.

I also refuse to watch The Express, because of the slander of West Virginia in the movie. The most notable thing about racial issues in West Virginia is that almost nobody notices any. Had any of you been at my brother's funeral, you'd have been amazed at the racial diversity of those attending, and all of them had something nice to say about him.
the list is lengthy. to sum it up. princess bride. never seen it.

i was born in minot, north dakota but didn't stick around long enough to get the accent. i think they hand those out when you reach a certain age. i love the coen brothers.
never seen Fargo either. Also haven't seen Fight Club, if that counts as a classic
Never saw the entire Gone With The Wind movie.

The original chick flick.

It's probably worth seeing, but you may end up wishing to get those four hours back.
Being a "child of the 80s," my age-range peers have been surprised when they learned that I've never seen Sixteen Candles, Caddyshack or the Breakfast Club.

Citizen Kane is truly a masterpiece.

I hate IAWL.

It would be easier for me to list wh/ classic movies I've seen.
I love "classic movies" but I'm ashamed to admit I haven't seen Citizen Kane OR It's a Wonderful Life.

Gone With the Wind is my favorite movie with Casablanca being a close second.
Never saw "Gone With The Wind." Attention Deficet Disorder would preclude me from

Wow, just wow. I think I know each of those movies by heart. You might be too old to get anything out of them now. You really need to pounding hormones, and low attention span to find them funny which anyone who was a teen-ager during the mid eighties did. I graduated high school in '86 so those three were right in my wheel house.
I've never watched Rocky 2-5 (the first one was one too many), The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Sixteen Candles, Gone with the Wind, and several other so-called classics.

But my taste in movies is rather eclectic. A personal favorite is The Groove Tube.

Yep, I never saw it until I got married.

Also never seen Wizard of Oz but I always wanted to try the ole Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon) and Wizard of Oz sync experiment.
