In other action on last weekend, the MAC Championship Game on ESPN2 (1.2, 1.9M) outdrew the Pac-12 (0.9, 1.5M), Mountain West (1.1, 1.7M) and Conference USA (0.3, 449K) title games. Keep in mind the MAC game aired on a Friday night with no college football competition.

True that we aired on Friday night, but the MWC aired with without competition for most of its night and it was on CBS!

Our game was on ESPN2

There has never been any doubt in my mind why that ESPN and the MAC likes having Friday evening to itself. AND

this game appealed to many because it was for a BCS bid.

I bet the ratings were high in Illinois, Ohio and OKLAHOMA.

Bet a lot were hoping for a NIU loss
I'm surprised that many people watched a game that wasn't that competitive. I figured many would have turned off the game after the first half.
It doesn't mean they watched it in its entirety, it measures if you tune in at all or even set the DVR to possibly watch later.
Everyone knows those rating systems are flawed.....They don't take account for houses with multiple TV sets and things of that matter........
DOROTHY MANTOOTH IS A SAINT!
Impressive ratings.
