Happened to catch it as I was running from school to the pharmacy to get some cold medicine (yeah, f*^k my life). They absolutely gushed over JL6 and the program. For his part, Jordan said all the right things. It was pretty much the standard stuff we've heard many times, but they focused on the Heisman, and didn't really talk much about the MACC.

We have turned the corner in Chicago sports media! This year and Lynch were the final punches to crack thru.

Imo, we will se a big positive effect in Chicago and the midwest in recruiting. It will be a "big thing" when NIU offers or calls. There wil be no more, "who?".In addition, I anticapte positive results regarding applications and enrollment.

Very thrilled with the tremendous media coverage and support we have received this year. It is a huge blessing.

I don't believe that the signal is 50,000 watts as the other stations that you mentioned, but AM 560 (WIND) has carried many sporting events over the years. That could be a possibility.

I believe that our contract with the SCORE ends after the Poinsettia Bowl. It's strange that we haven't heard any rumblings about a replacement network....

Great interview all around. M&H asked some good questions and JL6 sounded very good.

I don't disagree, but i didn't want to totally crush the poor guy's excitement!

There is competion for air space in Chicago media. ND IL and the Bears are not going away, but our footprint got bigger. We earned long lasting respect and there is a favorable impression of NIU.
