Can we post all our bowl games (and future members) here?

I heard Houston to BBVA Compass vs ??
Rutgers to Pin Stripe vs Notre Dame
UL to russell vs ??? (duke??)

Anyone else official?
Tulane (7-5 after 6-2 start) is officially in the "R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl" vs. U-La.-Lafayette (8-4, lost their last 2)

December 21st @9pm EST on ESPN. Should have the TV-audience all to ourselves.
ECU to St Pete...

That's a tough break for ECU. Hope the Bucs can get focused and motivated for a MAC opponent.
Louisville vs Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl. Duke to the Chicken Bowl against Georgia.
St Pete isnt a bad bowl game. UCF has been there twice, its a great location especially during the winter.

Tulane got a nice local bowl game as well, but doesn't ULL travel really well to that one every year? Should be a nice crowd.

UL got a great opponent in Miami and should win pretty easily. Good tv matchup that should score some good ratings. I will probably go to the game.

Very nice for the few that want to go to a game against a MAC school on Monday the 23rd at 2 pm. Who the hell thinks that's a good time to play a football game?

if you are at the game who the hell cares what time or when it is? Only those complaining are the lazy life type folks who aren't going.

The only bowl game I could go to this year was the Military, but now I'm going to have to take a half day off work just to watch this game on TV.
Cincinnati's official for the Belk, although our opponent hasn't been determined yet - most projections I've seen have UC playing UNC though which would be a really fun game.

Don't lie, its a terrible bowl. Baseball stadium isn't equipped to have a real football game. It will look and feel empty no matter if its a sell out. The atmosphere at the game really sucks.

St.Pete is a pretty boring city but the weather is nice. If your looking for decent nightlife the night before you need to go into Tampa or Orlando.

Outside of the winter weather, a bowl in a North Carolina high school stadium is still a good bowl too. My high school's games were in a stadium that held 10,000. Had a few games where we had 12-15k. It was near 80 here on Friday so sometimes the weather ain't so bad either. Sucks now though. The tourism is where we lack.

Here is where we played our games...

Sorry to derail. Now back to the original topic....

I recommend the Bon Aire hotel on St. Petersburg Beach. Maybe 10 minutes from the stadium, nice little (but not expensive) hotel, great bar. Sent a week there with my kids this summer. Right on the beach, white sand, GREAT sunsets. Plus, if it's warm enough to go into the gulf, the water is pretty shallow and if you're lucky the dolphins will swim right up to you...
don't send Duke to Atlanta we don't wanna see that

East Carolina is the highest profile program Ohio has ever played in a bowl game so I'm sure a lot of Bobcats will turn out for it once our PR machine revs up.

Previous Ohio Bowl opponents: ULM, Troy, USM, Marshall, Utah St, West Texas A&M, Richmond
It is official...Louisville vs.Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl:
