Strap it on, Trojans!
Why does Steve play so many players so soon? The starters cannot be tired that early.
Sounds like Devonte is hitting his stride. We need him to.
Interesting to listen to Bobby Vint commenting about his old team.
16 points ahead at half. Not bad. Should have been more, but our defense has held them to WAY less than they are accustomed to scoring.
James is getting rebounds, and that is what we really need.
Devonte so far 7 assists, 0 turnovers. Vint is really high on him. Said he got his game ball nomination.
We have it under control, but we don't have the killer instinct to put them away.
James has a double/double now.
Chalk it up! Trojans move to 3-4.
Nice win for us, even if it was a D2 team. We kept it under control and did what we needed to do, and everyone got a lot of playing time.

We had it under control from the opening tip. Thought we would be pushed a little bit more. Steve played everyone quite a few minutes. Clearly viewed it as an exhibition game. I wouldn't mind having their big kid.

He is a transfer from Arizona State.
This win won't impress anyone, but I think it was a good win for us. Good quality D2 team, and our kids evidently played pretty well. James White is becoming more consistent, and that could be huge for us.

I really like our current line-up. Devonte, Leroy, Josh, James, and Will. Definitely no duds in that group. Isom may be ready to step up as the 6th man off the bench. Gus and Ben are solid off the bench. JT hopefully will be back soon. Looks like that's our top nine going forward.

Based on past history, I predicted way before the season that D'Vonte would be our starting point guard. He had nine assists and no turnovers.
We've never, to my knowledge, had a point guard with those numbers.
I was surprised when J.T. won the starting spot at the beginning of the season. He might have a hard time getting it back.04-cheers
Admittedly this was a stat-stuffer game, but still there are several things to like.

Our big guys got the job done. Will and James can be spectacular. Gus is not, but you look at his stats and he does a lot of things that help you win.

Isler 1 of 9. Not good.

Devonte 9 assists and zero turnovers. That would be impressive no matter who you were playing. J. T. may have trouble getting his old job back.

A lot of guys hitting 3's. James White was not one of them, and he needs to quit trying. That is not where we need him.
